Edward Norton, Bella Thorne, Jim Gaffigan Join Animated 'Guardian Brothers'

Edward Norton, Bella Thorne, Jim GaffiganMike Birbiglia and Randall Park are joining The Weinstein Co.'s The Guardian Brothers.

The actors join the previously announced voice cast of Meryl Streep, Mel Brooks and Nicole Kidman in the U.S. version of the animated movie. Initially distributed in China by Alibaba Pictures in early 2016 (under the original title The Little Door Gods), the film is being re-voiced in English by TWC.

Michael Lappin is the executive in charge of production at The Weinstein Company. TWC acquired worldwide rights, with the exception of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, for the film.

Tupac Biopic 'All Eyez on Me' Lands at Lionsgate (Exclusive)

All Eyez on Me, the long-gestating biopic of rapper Tupac Shakur, is finally on its way to theaters.

Lionsgate has acquired the U.S. rights to the Morgan Creek Entertainment film that follows the life of the iconic '90s rapper, and has set it for release June 16 — the day that would have marked Shakur’s 46th birthday.

The film chronicles his rise to superstardom as a hip-hop artist, actor, poet and activist, as well as his imprisonment and controversial time at Death Row Records. Shakur sold more than 75 million records worldwide, with his fourth studio album, 1996's All Eyez »

Eugene Cernan, Astronaut Who Carved Daughter’s Initials on the Moon, Dead at 82

Eugene Cernan, whose tribute to his daughter in the most recent moonwalk has ingrained him in pop culture, died Monday, according to NASA. He was 82. Cernan was profiled in the 2014 documentary The Last Man on the Moon.

Cernan was the commander of Apollo 17 in 1972 and the last crew member to re-enter the lunar module. Just before the module was set to leave, Cernan dropped to one knee and etched his daughter’s initials, “TDC,” on the moon’s surface.
